StarBNNI15 -Broadband Network Node Interface circuit-155Mbps

General Desription

The BNNI15 is a monolithic integrated circuit that implements the STM-1 / STS-3cphysical layer function for Broadband-ISDN User-Network Interface and Network-Node Interface based on ITU-T recommendations such as I.432, G.70X and G.783 as well as the UTOPIA function recommended by the ATM forum.

The BNNI15 is implemented using 5 volt, 0.8 um standard CMOS technology and packaged in an 160 pin plastic quad flat package (PQFP).

The major target application systems are SDH-based ATM switching systems and SDH-based ATM terminals. Although the BNNI15 is developed for use in SDH-based system, it can also be applied to a SONET STS-3c based applications.

The BNNI15 performs the physical layer function for SDH-based 155.52 Mbit/s ATM user-network interface and network-node interface.
